Philips Hue has unexpectedly raised the price of its Bridge Pro smart home hub significantly. In the manufacturer’s official German online store, the device is now listed at €149.99. Previously, the hub was available there for €99.99.
50 Percent Price Jump
With this adjustment, the Bridge Pro becomes €50 more expensive in one go, representing a 50 percent price hike. As recently as this summer, Philips Hue asked for the original price of just under €100 for the control unit. This latest change marks a significant shift in the lighting system’s pricing structure.
Even prior to its official launch, there were reports about the features of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro, which primarily targets users with larger setups and more demanding requirements.
