TP-Link Shows Tapo C675D: 4K Dual-Lens Security Camera With Solar Panel

TP-Link has unveiled its new dual-lens security camera, the Tapo C675D, ahead of IFA. The 4K camera combines two lenses, its own solar panel for self-sufficient operation and color night vision.

Two lenses, fewer blind spots

The C675D uses two lenses with a wide 169-degree field of view and synchronized smart tracking across both lenses. That lets it detect and continuously follow people, vehicles and animals. Thanks to IP65 protection, the camera is meant for outdoor use; the color night vision delivers color images in the dark instead of black-and-white.

Powered by its own solar panel

An included solar panel powers the camera autonomously – handy for locations without a power outlet. The C675D is due to hit stores in 2026; TP-Link has not yet named a price.

Part of a trend

Dual-lens cameras with wide-angle plus zoom, solar operation and AI-assisted object detection are likely to become standard in 2026. Tapo is one of the most popular smart-home brands in German-speaking markets.
