Philips Hue has unveiled an unusually large number of new smart-lighting products all at once. The centerpieces are a new HDMI Sync Box 2.1, a switch that brings classic lamps into the Hue system, plus new lamps and LED strips.
Light follows the screen
The HDMI Sync Box 2.1 syncs Hue lighting in real time with connected HDMI devices – extending films, shows and games visually beyond the TV into the room. Two bundle sizes are available: one for 55- to 65-inch TVs, one for 75- to 85-inch sets.
Even “dumb” lamps become smart
New are smart switches that let you bring non-smart lamps into the Hue system and control them via the app or a voice assistant. Added to that are Gradient floor lamps and light bars, an expanded RGBIC and Neon LED-strip range, a Squire Lite table lamp and a revamped Smart Dial Switch for faster physical control.
More efficient and widely available
The new candle bulbs are around 40 percent more efficient and deliver a more natural daylight spectrum. The products have been rolling out across Europe and North America since summer 2026; prices start at just under £24, with the Sync Box bundles at around £130 and £150 respectively.
