Philips Hue is making previously exclusive kitchen lighting freely available: products that were only sold through Nobilia kitchens will hit regular retail from September 11, 2026.
Modular Linear Gradient Light Strip
The Philips Hue Linear Gradient Light Strip consists of 60-centimeter segments that plug together and can be extended. It comes in black and white housings and shines at 1,000 lumens per meter. The starter set with two strips costs around 270 euros, while individual strips run about 115 euros each.
Spots for under the cabinet
Rounding out the range are under-cabinet spots for mounting beneath kitchen cabinets, also in black and white. The three-piece basic set sits at roughly 290 euros, individual spots at about 90 euros. One limitation remains: because only a single controller is used, all spots always display the same color and brightness. The sales launch coincides with Berlin’s IFA trade show.
