Govee has unveiled the Strip Light 2, a new generation of its smart LED strips – for the first time with Matter support, improved white light and a protective coating. Prices start at $49.99.
What is new
- Matter support (over Wi-Fi): the strip can be integrated into smart-home systems across vendors.
- RGBWWIC 5-in-1 LEDs with 24 LEDs per meter and the new “LuminBlend+” color mixing for smoother transitions and better whites.
- A new protective coating is meant to make the strip more durable.
Sizes and prices
The Strip Light 2 comes in several lengths: 9.8 ft from $49.99, 16.4 ft for $59.99, 32.8 ft for $94.99 and 65.6 ft up to $139.99. It is available directly from Govee and via Amazon.

What you can buy today: The Strip Light 2 has only just been announced and is not yet listed in Germany. Of Govee’s current line-up, the COB Strip Light Pro* is the only strip on Amazon.de that is both in stock and confirmed to support Matter – the widely sold M1 range supports Matter too, but is currently unavailable there.
