SONOFF is using IFA Berlin 2026 (4 to 8 September, booth H1.2-143) to line up several new smart-home devices: a sensor series spanning Zigbee and Thread, a dual-lens security camera series and a DIN-rail switch rated for up to 32 A with real-time energy monitoring – offered, the vendor says, in both a Zigbee and a Matter version. Prices and availability remain open.
Sensors between Zigbee and Thread
According to the SONOFF newsroom, the new sensor series includes both Zigbee and Thread models. That is more than a footnote: Thread sensors slot straight into Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa via Matter, whereas Zigbee still needs a SONOFF or Home Assistant gateway. The announcement does not yet name specific sensor types or technical figures.
The dual-lens camera and the 32A switch
The camera series relies on two lenses – typically to combine a wide and a zoomed view, though details stay vague. More concrete is the DIN-rail switch: it is meant to handle up to 32 A (around 7,680 W at 240 V), measure voltage, current and consumption in real time, and offer double-pole isolation plus overload protection. A related Matter-over-WiFi model (BASIC-1GSP) is already on sale; there, the live readings can currently be accessed only in eWeLink, Home Assistant and SmartThings.
What smart-home users can expect
For Home Assistant fans, the OpenEdge framework on show is the most interesting piece: SONOFF promises (its own claim) a local, browser-based console per device, independent of the cloud. So far only product categories and the trade-show appearance are confirmed – independent testing and final specifications are still to come.
