UniFi Express 7: Firmware 5.2.10 Fixes WiFi Calling and Mesh Bugs

Ubiquiti released UniFi OS 5.2.10 for the compact UniFi Express 7 (UX7) Wi-Fi 7 gateway on September 11, 2026. The staged rollout bundles UniFi Network Application 10.5.67 and Identity Sync Service 1.8.4, and squashes several stubborn home-network bugs.

What the update fixes

The headline fixes target WiFi Calling, which could previously drop calls or produce one-way audio. The firmware also stops crashes that occurred when modifying an SSID, and prevents applying new SSID settings from silently resetting bandwidth limits to their defaults.

Mesh reliability and Wi-Fi 7

Mesh deployments benefit most. After a parent device was power-cycled or a VLAN was changed, access points sometimes reconnected in the slower SLO mode instead of fast multi-link operation (MLO). Version 5.2.10 restores a reliable return to MLO, and Ubiquiti adds updated regulatory support for India.

Who should update

The UX7 is Ubiquiti’s affordable entry into Wi-Fi 7, pairing a 10 GbE WAN port with a 2.5 GbE LAN port. Anyone running it as a router or as a mesh node should update soon — though the staged rollout means it may not appear for every account at once.
