UGREEN is rolling out two new desktop NAS units in its NASync DXP Ultra line, aimed at homelabs and small studios. Orders are already open and the company says shipping begins on 30 September 2026 – with Intel Core processors, Thunderbolt 4 and two 10-gigabit ports each.
Two models, plenty of bandwidth
The six-bay DXP6800 Ultra is built around an Intel Core 5 120U, while the larger eight-bay DXP8800 Ultra uses a Core 7 150U. Both ship with 8 GB of DDR5-4800 memory that can be expanded to 96 GB, and add two M.2 NVMe slots on top of the SATA bays. That gives the smaller unit up to 208 TB and the bigger one up to 272 TB of raw capacity.
Ports for fast networks
Each NAS carries two 10-gigabit Ethernet ports that can be aggregated to 20 Gbit/s, plus two Thunderbolt 4 connectors (40 Gbit/s), 10 Gbit/s USB-A and an 8K HDMI output. They run the UGOS Pro operating system with RAID levels from 0 to 10, leaving room for Docker, virtualization and home-network backups.
Price and availability
UGREEN lists the DXP6800 Ultra at around $1,450 and the DXP8800 Ultra at roughly $1,780; neither includes hard drives. The company takes orders through its own store and via Amazon, with deliveries slated to begin at the end of September.
