Ecovacs used IFA 2026 in Berlin to unveil the Deebot X12S OmniCyclone, a new flagship robot vacuum with up to 27,000 Pa of suction, a bagless auto-empty station and a clear focus on allergy sufferers. In Germany it goes on sale on September 9 for 1,299 euros.
Strong suction and a mopping roller
At its core sits BLAST technology with a 53-watt motor and up to 27,000 Pa of suction – around 23 percent more than the previous X12, according to Ecovacs. Mopping is handled by the OZMO Roller 3.0, a 27-centimetre roller that extends sideways, lifts up to 15 millimetres and is continuously rinsed with fresh water while the robot works, so it should always meet the floor with a clean surface.
Built for allergy sufferers
New is a sealed carpet chamber that presses deeper into the pile rather than gliding across the top. In SGS-certified testing the X12S removed an average of 97.44 percent of dust mite allergens and 95.45 percent of dust mites from carpet. A self-heating dirty-water tank is meant to cut down on residue and odours in the station – a feature Ecovacs had not offered before.

Price, launch and privacy
In Germany the Deebot X12S OmniCyclone is available from September 9 through Amazon, MediaMarkt, Saturn and Otto. The list price is 1,299 euros, with Ecovacs knocking off 100 euros as a launch deal until September 23. Navigation runs on AIVI 3D 4.0, and the built-in camera gets a physical cover for privacy. The bagless OmniCyclone station empties itself and should noticeably reduce maintenance.
