At its next@acer keynote for IFA 2026, Acer unveiled the Predator Atlas 7 on 2 September – a 7-inch gaming handheld that brings PC-class gaming into an especially compact form factor and slots in as the slimmer sibling of the 8-inch Atlas.
Intel Arc instead of AMD
Unlike most rivals, Acer goes with Intel, according to the manufacturer: the Atlas 7 ships either with the Intel Arc G3 Extreme (graphics up to Arc B390) or the regular G3 variant with Arc B370. The 7-inch 16:9 panel runs at Full HD, refreshes at 120 Hz and peaks at 500 nits; Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the front.

Endurance, cooling and controls
Power comes from an 80 Wh battery cooled by a dual-fan system. For controls, Acer fits TMR joysticks to fight stick drift plus Hall-effect analog triggers. Two months of PC and Xbox Game Pass are bundled. Acer has not yet named an operating system – Windows or SteamOS.
Price, market and IFA context
Acer is still silent on pricing. Sales begin in North America in Q4 2026 and across EMEA from November 2026. That puts the Atlas 7 up against the Asus ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, Valve’s Steam Deck and the MSI Claw – with Intel graphics as its differentiator. At IFA, Acer also showed the repair-friendly Vero 16, new Swift laptops, monitors up to 1000 Hz and the Project DualPlay concept.
