Asus ProArt P16: First Laptop With Nvidia’s RTX Spark Superchip at IFA

Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has unveiled the ProArt P16 at IFA in Berlin – according to the company, the first creator laptop built around Nvidia’s new RTX Spark superchip, which delivers up to one petaflop of AI performance in a chassis weighing just 1.77 kilograms.

Grace CPU and Blackwell GPU on one chip

At its heart sits Nvidia’s RTX Spark, which pairs a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 cores and fifth-generation Tensor Cores with a Grace CPU of up to 20 cores. Up to 128 GB of unified memory is on hand – enough, Asus says, to run AI models with 120 billion parameters locally, generate 4K video or render large 3D scenes without touching the cloud.

Despite that power, the machine remains the thinnest and lightest 16-inch ProArt yet at 12.9 millimetres. A 99-watt-hour battery and a 4K OLED panel running at 120 hertz, with 1,600 nits peak brightness and a colour deviation of Delta E below one, clearly target photographers, editors and 3D artists.

Asus has not yet disclosed pricing. The market launch is planned for autumn 2026 in select regions; industry watchers expect a starting price around 2,000 US dollars. Alongside the P16, Asus also showed the smaller P14 and the GR1X mini PC in Berlin, both using the same RTX Spark chip.
