At IFA 2026 in Berlin, TCL gathered its expanding AI portfolio under the banner „Inspired by Life, Powered by AI“, spanning home entertainment and appliances. The centrepieces are new QD-Mini-LED televisions and the flagship Q95K soundbar.
The Q95K soundbar
The Q95K is TCL’s new soundbar flagship. According to the company it uses an 11.1.4 architecture with 22 speakers, a wireless subwoofer and rear speakers, and hits a claimed maximum output of 1,420 watts. Audio tuning comes from Bang & Olufsen, and the package includes Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, HDMI 2.1 with eARC, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, plus Spotify and Google Cast Lite. A feature called AI Sonic-Adaptation is said to calibrate the sound automatically to the room. TCL says the Q95K will reach Europe from October 2026; no price has been named so far.
New QD-Mini-LED televisions
Topping the TV range is the X11L (SQD-Mini LED). For the 98-inch model, TCL advertises up to 20,736 local dimming zones, peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits and up to 100 percent coverage of the BT.2020 colour space – combined with 144 Hz, Dolby Vision and B&O audio. Below it, the maker lines up more affordable models:
- C8L: up to 4,032 zones, up to 6,000 nits
- C7L: up to 2,176 zones, up to 3,000 nits
- A400 Pro: 448 zones, ONKYO audio
AI runs through the range
Beyond TV and sound, TCL underlined how deeply AI now shapes its product lines. The company is extending the Gemini assistant for Google TV to further European markets, and also showed NXTPAPER displays and the new P80 smartphone series. Concrete European prices for the launches remained open in Berlin for now.
