EarFun Wave Pro X: Over-Ear Headphones With Dual Drivers and 90-Hour Battery

As IFA 2026 in Berlin wrapped up, audio specialist EarFun unveiled the Wave Pro X, its new over-ear flagship. Priced at 149.99 euros (149.99 US dollars), the headphones promise elaborate dual-driver hardware, adaptive noise cancelling and unusually long battery life.

Two drivers per ear

At the core sits what EarFun calls DCAA (Dual-Coaxial Acoustic Architecture): each ear cup pairs a 40-millimeter driver with a diamond-like coating and a smaller 10-millimeter driver in a coaxial layout. The setup is meant to deliver punchier bass and cleaner treble. The headphones carry Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless certification and weigh roughly 259 grams.

Adaptive ANC and Bluetooth 6.0

For noise cancelling EarFun uses a hybrid ANC system with eight microphones that, according to the company, analyzes the surroundings up to 800 times per second. Connectivity runs over Bluetooth 6.0, with support for aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive and LDAC, among others. The new Auracast broadcast standard is on board as well.

  • Battery: up to 90 hours without ANC, up to 50 hours with ANC
  • Fast charge: 15 minutes for around 10 hours of music
  • Multipoint for two devices, plus USB-C and 3.5 mm wired modes

The Wave Pro X is available now through EarFun’s own store and Amazon. That places the model firmly in the mid-range, taking on established ANC headphones while clearly undercutting their prices.
