DJI unveiled the Osmo 360 II on 3 September 2026 and is bringing it to IFA 2026 in Berlin (Hall 20, Booth H20-129, 4–8 September). The new 360-degree flagship succeeds last year’s Osmo 360 and, per DJI, captures 8K spherical video at up to 60 fps – up from the predecessor’s 8K/50 fps.
New sensor and wider dynamic range
Inside sit two square 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors that DJI markets as a “1-inch 8K/60fps sensor.” With 2.4µm pixels, an f/1.9 aperture and 10-bit D-Log M recording, DJI claims up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range (up from 13.5). Stills reach 120 megapixels in HDR mode, joined by 16K timelapses and an 8K/120fps “Vortex” mode – all manufacturer figures.
Replaceable lenses, AI night mode, IP68
As a headline feature, DJI cites user-replaceable lenses with a harder coating. There is also the “AI SuperNight 2.0” low-light mode and a four-microphone array. The camera is IP68-rated and waterproof to 10 metres without a case (50 metres with the optional case). The 2,150 mAh battery is rated for about 100 minutes at 8K/30fps and fast-charges to 80 percent in 22 minutes.
Price, availability and rivals
According to trade outlets, the Standard Combo starts at 589 euros and the Adventure Combo at 739 euros; the exact EU on-sale date is to follow later in September. In the 360 segment, DJI takes on the Insta360 X5 and GoPro Max.
