The Arch-based distribution Manjaro has released version 26.1.1, the first point release of the 26.1 series. The update mainly refreshes core packages – including the Linux 7.2 kernel, KDE Frameworks 6.29 and Mesa 26.1.7.
What was updated
The base is the Linux 7.2 kernel. KDE Frameworks 6.29 and the Mesa 26.1.7 graphics library provide more current desktop and graphics support, alongside the usual bug fixes and package updates.
Who it is for
Point releases bundle updated packages and fixes into a fresh installation image – handy mainly for new installs, since fewer post-install updates are needed. Existing users receive the same updates anyway through Manjaro’s rolling-release model.
