Google is expanding the feature set of its AI assistant Gemini and connecting it to the Google Wallet digital wallet. Via the new integration, the artificial intelligence can access data stored in Wallet. The feature is initially rolling out to users in the US.
Boarding passes, tickets, and loyalty cards in focus
Through this integration, Gemini can retrieve relevant information that users have saved in their Wallet. This includes boarding passes, tickets, and loyalty cards, among others. Instead of manually opening the Wallet app and searching for the right pass, users will soon be able to directly query the AI assistant for these details.

Connecting Gemini with Wallet aligns with Google’s strategy to integrate its AI assistant more deeply into its own applications and services.
Availability
The Wallet integration for Gemini is currently launching as a connected app, initially in the US.
