The self-hosted PaaS Coolify shipped version 4.3.18 on September 8, 2026, bringing better backup monitoring, leaner S3 backups and a refreshed interface.
Backups now speak up on their own
A new configurable alert fires when scheduled database backups have been missing for a set number of days. For volume backups that target an S3 destination only, Coolify now streams the archives straight to object storage instead of buffering them locally – saving disk space on the host. The backup history is also paginated and searchable.
Reworked interface, plenty of detail fixes
The update delivers a larger UI refresh with WCAG-compliant contrast, a unified surface system and a rebuilt mobile navigation drawer. Alongside it come fixes that matter day to day: SSH proxy commands such as cloudflared work again because PATH is preserved, wildcard domain validation behaves correctly, and larger header buffers let Nginx handle big cookies.
Who should upgrade
If you run Coolify as a Heroku alternative in your homelab, the main wins are more reliable backups and less friction around domains and the reverse proxy. In parallel, a 4.4 release candidate with OpenID Connect login and team-scoped integration tokens is already available for testing.
