Crusoe, a provider specialising in AI data centers, has agreed to a funding round of more than $3 billion that values the company at roughly $30 billion, according to Bloomberg. The deal triples Crusoe’s valuation within ten months and underscores how much capital is now flowing into the infrastructure behind the AI boom.
Who is investing
According to multiple reports, the round is co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital, the asset-management arm of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund. As recently as October 2025, Crusoe raised $1.38 billion at a $10 billion valuation, meaning the new round arrives after just ten months.
From crypto miner to AI supplier
Founded in 2018, Crusoe initially ran crypto mining powered by flared natural gas. Today it builds hyperscale data centers and supplies cloud and GPU capacity, with reported customers including Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI and Oracle. The valuation is underpinned by a freshly signed contract: Crusoe is set to provide roughly $13 billion of AI infrastructure to trading firm Jane Street over five years.
Bloomberg reports that Crusoe has also already spoken with investment banks about a possible near-term initial public offering. The company had not commented on the financing at the time of reporting.
