With the AX9 Max, VZMore launches a compact mini PC built around the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, while the stronger AX9 Ultra model has already been announced.
Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 in the AX9 Max
The VZMore AX9 Max relies on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 (Gorgon Point) with 12 CPU cores and a Radeon 890M featuring 16 compute units. Cooling is handled by a vapor chamber. In the 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage configuration, the machine costs around 1,300 euros (excluding taxes) and is already available via the VZMore website.
Ports and storage
For storage, two M.2 slots are available: one M.2-2280 and one M.2-2230, both PCIe 4.0 x4. The port selection includes, among others:
- 5x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and 1x USB-A 2.0
- 2x USB4
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 2x 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet
- SD 4.0 card reader and 3.5 mm jack
AX9 Ultra follows at IFA 2026
The flagship AX9 Ultra combines the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 (Strix Halo) with 8 Zen 5 cores and a Radeon 8060S featuring 40 compute units. The full port layout is still open; its presentation is scheduled for IFA 2026.
