In early October 2026, Google announced further details about a new health feature called Vascular Stress Level. The feature is part of the Health Guardian application and is designed to track blood pressure trends on the manufacturer’s current smartwatches.
Availability for Pixel Watch 3 to 5
The Vascular Stress Level feature has been rolling out gradually for the Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Watch 5 as part of Health Guardian since late September 2026. Via the platform Google Health Guardian, Pixel Watches receive blood pressure and insulin trends, expanding the watches’ existing vital data features.

There is also a timeline for owners of other wearables from the company: According to Google, both the Vascular Stress Level and the Metabolic Stress Level will be added to the Fitbit Air later in 2026.
Five days of wear as a minimum requirement
For supported smartwatches to reliably determine the trends, the system requires several days of baseline data. According to Google, at least five consecutive days of wear were required in September to initiate trend calculations on the Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5.
Users waiting for these readings to appear should therefore keep their smartwatch on their wrist as continuously as possible so the service can collect enough data points for the evaluation.
