Sound is decent for a gaming laptop, but I’d expect more from this price range. Any experience with the speakers?

Used it for a few hours yesterday. The audio is passable for gaming, but nothing special. I’d definitely go with external speakers for real listening.

Fair. I’d say it’s a decent balance. Not perfect, but for the price, it’s a solid pick. Any issues with the build quality?

Marketing often overpromises. I’d check reviews for actual speaker quality, not just specs.

Battery life is average for a gaming laptop—maybe 4-5 hours under normal use. Not great for all-day work, but okay for short sessions.

Not really a speaker fan myself, but I’ve heard the internal ones are okay for casual use. If you’re into audio, this might not be the one.

Dual fans and heat pipes, so it’s better than most. Still, it’s not going to be silent. I’ve noticed the fan kicks in pretty quickly.

Same here. Speakers are basic, but for gaming and streaming, it’s not a dealbreaker. What about the GPU? Worth it for 1080p?

  3. StefanN

RTX 3060, so 1080p is solid. 144Hz display, too. It’s a solid mid-range gaming rig if you don’t need 4K.

I’d say it’s not ideal for all-day use. I’ve seen some reviews mention heat issues after extended gaming. Any thoughts on cooling?

Does it have a decent battery life? I use mine mostly on the go, but it’s a gaming laptop.
