This pad is huge, 18 bucks for a Lord of the Rings themed mousepad? Can’t complain, but I’m curious if it’s as grippy as it looks.

  2. Hanna87

I’ve got the same pad, used it for 3 months now. The grip is decent, but the edges wear off after a while. Not a huge issue, but not the most durable.

Limited quantity? That’s strange. Usually, these are in stock for weeks. Maybe it’s a flash sale?

Thanks for the heads up. I use a lot of mouse mats, so durability is a concern. Any idea if the material is rubber or cloth?

    1. Bastler34

From what I’ve read, it’s a rubberized surface with a cloth top. Should hold up better than the cheaper ones, but not as long as the ones with silicone backing.

  4. JanS

Silicone backing? I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cash. I’ve got a $15 one that’s held up just fine so far.

  5. Bastler34

Depends on your mouse. If you’re using a high-end one with a lot of weight, the silicone is better for grip. Otherwise, the rubber should be fine.

I’ve used it with a DeathAdder and it worked fine. No issues with tracking or grip. Should be a good match.

This is a solid deal. 18 bucks for a 45-inch pad with the Lothlórien design. I’m in, but I’m checking if the shipping is free.

  7. Conny91

I just ordered one. Free shipping, but they say it’s a limited quantity. Might want to act fast if you’re interested.

  8. Kaffeejunkie54

Could be. I’ve seen similar deals pop up and disappear within a day. If it’s not too much trouble, I’ll grab it now.

  9. Sparfuchs92

I’m not a big fan of themed mats, but I can’t argue with the price. Just need to make sure it’s compatible with my Razer DeathAdder.

    1. Sparfuchs92

Thanks, that’s good to hear. I was worried about the texture messing with the sensor.

Heard the mat is a bit bulky. Not sure if it’s worth it for the price, but I’ll take a look anyway.
