This is a decent price for a wireless mic, but I’d be curious how it holds up in real-world use. For video work, reliability is key.

Still, I’m skeptical of wireless mics in general. Too many times I’ve had interference from other devices. Any tricks to avoid that?

You can switch channels manually if there’s interference, and placing it away from Wi-Fi routers helps. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than some.

Nah, I need it for streaming. Audio is important, but this is more for camera use. I’ll probably pair it with a gaming mic.

Does it come with a windscreen? That’s a dealbreaker for me if it’s not included.

For gaming? Not sure if this is the right fit. It’s more for video than in-game mics. Maybe the HyperX QuadCast S?

I’ve been eyeing this for my homelab setup. Any thoughts on battery life and latency? It’s not ideal if it drops signal mid-recording.

Yep, it does. I just checked the listing. But if you’re into audio, maybe the Rode VideoMic Pro is a better option for a bit more cash.

Elgato is great, but it’s not a mic. The DJI is a standalone solution. If you want to use your phone’s mic via USB, Cam Link is the way to go.

Latency is usually under 50ms, which is acceptable for most video. Battery life is about 8 hours on a single charge, but it depends on usage.

  4. AndreasK

I’ve used the Rode, and it’s solid. But for casual video work, the DJI is lighter and more compact. Trade-offs depending on your needs.

Heiß! Gekauft. I’ve been waiting for this to drop. Finally, a decent mic for my DIY projects.

Price-wise, it’s a win. But is it worth it compared to the Elgato Cam Link? I’ve heard that’s better for iPhone integration.
