The number at the start of each line is scaled, the text stays. Format: “200 g flour”, “1.5 tsp baking powder”.
Scale recipes to any number of servings
The scaler adjusts a recipe\u2019s quantities to a different number of servings. Enter the original and desired servings and paste the ingredient list – every amount is automatically scaled by the right factor.
- Automatic: The number at the start of each line is converted, the unit and ingredient name stay unchanged.
- Factor: Shown (e.g. ×1.5 from 4 to 6 servings).
- Decimals: Dot or comma as decimal separator are recognised.
