Just saw this on Idealoo, and it’s actually listed for $38 there. Still a solid deal, though. The 161Q is a pretty decent panel for the price.

Hmm, $38? I mean, $40 isn’t bad, but why not wait for it to drop further? I usually wait for it to hit $35 before I bite.

It’s a refurbished unit, so the price is already adjusted for that. I think it’s a good spot to pick it up before it’s gone. They tend to sell out fast.

I’ve used mine for a few months now. It’s actually pretty smooth. Runs Steam games at 1080p on medium settings with no lag. The input lag is low enough that it doesn’t really interfere with gameplay.

Nope, it’s still HDMI 1.4. Not a huge deal for casual use, but if you’re into 4K gaming or high-end streaming, you might want something newer. But for basic use, it’s more than enough.

The stand is okay, but I found it a bit wobbly on some surfaces. I ended up using a small pad under it for stability. The monitor itself is lightweight, though, which is good for portability.

That’s exactly what I needed. I was worried about the input lag, but if it’s low, that’s a big plus. Any issues with the stand or the weight?

I’ve been eyeing one of these for a while. Any idea how it holds up when using it for streaming and gaming at the same time? I use a second monitor for Discord and Twitch.

Any chance it has an HDMI 2.1 port? I’ve heard that’s a big deal for 4K and higher refresh rates. Not sure if it’s worth the upgrade.

I’ve had one of these for about six months now. Works great with my Raspberry Pi setup. No issues with the screen or the ports. The HDMI is a bit old, but it’s still functional.
