Hmm, curved monitors aren’t my usual go-to, but this price is tempting. Just wondering if it’s worth it for general use.

I’ve had one of these for a few years now. Great for watching TV or streaming, but not so good for detailed work like spreadsheets. It’s more of a lifestyle monitor.

So you’re saying it’s not ideal for work? I’m on a tight budget and looking for something that does double duty. Any pros for gaming?

        1. Technikfan54

Not great for gaming. The VA panel is slow to respond. I’d say stick to IPS or TN if you’re into that. But for casual use, it’s fine.

Slow. Yeah. Not great for fast action. But I’ve got it in the garage for watching Netflix. Works for that.

Thanks for the update. I’ll keep an eye out. If I see it pop up again, I might give it a go. Not a huge fan of curved screens, but I’ll try.

So it’s more of a lifestyle monitor then. What’s the resolution like? I’ve heard some curved monitors have lower res.

        1. Technikfan54

It’s 1080p. Not bad for the price, but nothing to write home about if you’re into 4K or even 1440p.

          1. Dealjaeger45

1080p is fine for me. I use it to watch movies. I don’t care about pixels when I’m just relaxing.

I’m more of an audio guy, but I’ve used this monitor a bit. The sound is okay, but not great. If you’re into surround sound or high fidelity, this isn’t the place.

      1. Verena84

Not expecting it to be a sound system, but I wonder if there’s a way to connect external speakers or a soundbar without needing an app?

        1. Yvonne_S

I think you can plug in speakers via the 3.5mm jack. No need for an app, just plug and play. That’s what I did.

Cheaper than the last time I saw it. But is it actually in stock? I checked Idealo and it’s showing out of stock in most places.

      1. Guido_M

Argos has it listed as in stock. Might be a regional thing. I’ve seen it pop up and disappear quickly though.

        1. Steffi_M

Just ordered one. Argos says delivery in 3-5 days. Let me know if I should be worried about it not showing up.
