PoE is a technology that makes it possible to send and use electricity via Ethernet cables. For example, it can be used to supply WiFi access points with power. This can be a PoE-capable Ethernet switch or a PoE injector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Philips Hue Bridge does not have the option of being supplied via PoE, for this you need a so-called PoE splitter. This PoE splitter, together with a 2.1mm to 2.5mm adapter, is suitable for supplying the Philips Hue Bridge.
