The best thing about it: it\u2019s completely free of charge.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Send WhatsApp messages with Home Assistant<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To enable <a href=\"https:\/\/netguide.io\/smart-home\/category\/home-assistant\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"Home Assistant\">Home Assistant<\/a> to send WhatsApp messages, we need to create a notification service. Before that, however, we need to obtain the required API access data.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CallMeBot \u2013 Request API access<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To send the WhatsApp messages as <a href=\"https:\/\/netguide.io\/smart-home\/category\/home-assistant\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"Home Assistant\">Home Assistant<\/a> notifications, we used the CallMeBot service. For each number that is to receive messages from Home Assistant via WhatsApp, the steps below must be followed. Requesting the access data is really easy:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add the phone number +34 684 783 347 to your phone contacts.
