Zigbee2MQTT Proxy allows external Zigbee2MQTT instances to communicate with Home Assistant via MQTT. It enables users to manage Zigbee devices from a separate, externally hosted Zigbee2MQTT server.

How this rating comes about

Installation
- In Home Assistant open Settings → Add-ons → Add-on Store, and add the repository https://github.com/zigbee2mqtt/hassio-zigbee2mqtt through the three-dot menu.
- Reload the store and open Zigbee2MQTT Proxy.
- Install the add-on and wait for the first start.
- Switch on "Show in sidebar" – the interface then opens directly inside Home Assistant.
