Announced on September 10, 2026, the deal lands just days after the group&#8217;s Airtable takeover, making it Bending Spoons&#8217; second billion-dollar acquisition in a single week.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inside the transaction<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The boards of both companies approved the deal unanimously. Including Miro&#8217;s net cash, the companies put the equity value at roughly $1.79 billion. Some existing Miro shareholders have agreed to reinvest $295 million of their proceeds into newly issued Bending Spoons shares. More than 250,000 organizations and over 100 million users work with the digital whiteboard, and the company is described as profitable. Even so, the purchase price reportedly sits roughly 90 percent below Miro&#8217;s 2022 peak, when it was valued at about $17.5 billion.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The group&#8217;s acquisition playbook<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bending Spoons buys established digital products, reorganizes their teams and technology, layers in its own AI features and reinvests the earnings.
