That is precisely the clearance Ubisoft is now withdrawing. Steam Machine users and everyone playing For Honor through Proton on the desktop are affected too. The cut coincides with a larger competitive update: the reworked ranked ladder around Ranked Season 0 goes live at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three points stand out for Linux players:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>From September 10 the title is no longer playable on SteamOS, Steam Deck or Linux.<\/li><li>Ubisoft gives no timeline for a possible return.<\/li><li>Refunds depend, as usual, on Steam&#8217;s policy and hours already played.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At least the company leaves a back door open. It says it will \u201ccontinue to investigate different ways to improve our anti-cheat with the possibility of reopening the platform in the future.\u201d Concrete commitments are missing, however.
