August 2026 im Fachjournal <em>Science Advances<\/em> ver\u00f6ffentlichte Ergebnis k\u00f6nnte langfristig den Weg zu deutlich energieeffizienterer Elektronik ebnen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was Altermagnetismus besonders macht<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Altermagnete vereinen Eigenschaften von Ferromagneten und Antiferromagneten. Ihre Netto-Magnetisierung ist praktisch null, wodurch sie sich kaum st\u00f6ren lassen &#8211; dennoch behandeln sie die Spin-Ausrichtung der Elektronen richtungsabh\u00e4ngig. Erst als das Team unter Ming Yi (Erstautor Yichen Zhang) das Oxid zu einem ultrad\u00fcnnen Film wachsen und ihn epitaktisch verspannen lie\u00df, zeigte die direkte Messung der Spin-Textur die charakteristischen Muster. Ohne Gitterdehnung verschwand der Effekt. Die Verspannung lie\u00dfe sich damit wom\u00f6glich als &#8222;Regler&#8220; nutzen, um den Magnetismus gezielt ein- und auszuschalten &#8211; ein attraktiver Ansatz f\u00fcr stromsparende Speicher und Logikbausteine.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Noch Grundlagenforschung<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Einordnung ist wichtig: Es handelt sich um eine Labormessung an speziell pr\u00e4parierten D\u00fcnnschichten. Ob RuO&#8322; wirklich ein Altermagnet ist, wird in der Fachwelt seit Jahren kontrovers diskutiert. Die neue Arbeit liefert dazu belastbare Belege, aber keinen Schlusspunkt.
