Weil sich die Krebszellen ins umliegende gesunde Gewebe ausbreiten, ist eine vollst\u00e4ndige operative Entfernung extrem schwierig \u2013 Chirurgen m\u00fcssen dabei gesundes Hirngewebe schonen. Genau hier setzen die neuen Nanopartikel an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ein Werkzeug f\u00fcr beide Aufgaben<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die von Forschenden der University of Technology Sydney, der Harvard University und der Henan-Universit\u00e4t entwickelte \u201eNanozym&#8221;-Plattform \u00fcbernimmt beides: Sie l\u00e4sst versteckte Tumorzellen w\u00e4hrend der OP aufleuchten und zerst\u00f6rt anschlie\u00dfend die zur\u00fcckgebliebenen mikroskopischen Reste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vielversprechend \u2013 aber nur in M\u00e4usen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Tierversuchen \u00fcberlebten alle behandelten M\u00e4use die ersten 60 Tage (gegen\u00fcber 42 Tagen nach reiner Operation), ohne erkennbare neurologische Sch\u00e4den.
